DETROIT (WJBK) -

Aisha Harris had her iPhone 5 for just a few months before she said it was snatched from her hands at a Marathon gas station on Eight Mile and Berg.

Harris went there on her lunch break and was on the phone with her finance.

"While I was standing there paying the clerk for my beverage and my chips, a man came, and he just pushed me into the counter and grabbed my phone while I was actually talking on it," she said.

It appears it was all a plot, a pair of punks preying on the unsuspecting.

"One guy was the one that actually took my phone while I was on it, and then another guy held the door open for him to be able to run out," Harris said. "The gas station attendant told me that the guy comes in every hour just to rob someone, and he'll leave and then come back within the next hour."

Harris called the cops. She said hours passed before they showed up. When they arrived, Harris said they told her this could have ended a lot worse. They had dealt with this guy before, and he often carries a gun.

Harris said she will have to pay hundreds of dollars to buy a new iPhone. Meanwhile, there have been no arrests.
