There is a lot of excitement about the president's visit to Desert Vista High School in Ahwatukee on Tuesday. But there are those who don't really care for his visit.
FOX 10's Anita Roman spoke to a parent who posted on Facebook about keeping his kids home from school. John Hale took to Facebook to voice his opposition to the president's visit.
"There's not a lot of value that I feel is going to be coming from the message," he said.
Hale received a lot of feedback from his friends, both Democrats and Republicans, both for and against. He was surprised he got so many responses.
By the way, Hale says he was kidding about keeping his kids home from school. He says he would never deprive his kids the experience.
"They do make decisions on their own, and that's what I want. I don't want them to make decisions based on what the populous does."
