Producers use website to help fund movie filmed in Fountain Hills

Updated:
FOUNTAIN HILLS, Ariz. -

A movie filmed in Fountain Hills was partially made possible by donations from strangers who believe in the project.

Executive Producers Donovan Montierth, Adam Montierth, and John Waldron used website Kickstarter.com to raise enough money to fund post production and to get "Locker 13" into theatres.

The movie stars Jason Spisak (of "The Vampire Diaries"), Ricky Schroder (of "Silver Spoons" and "NYPD Blue"), Jon Gries (of "Napoleon Dynamite"), Jason Marsden (of "Boy Meets World") and many other familiar faces.

"Locker 13" follows a young ex-convict named Skip (Spisak) who becomes an evening janitor at an old-west theme park. He talks to his supervisor, Archie (Gries), who shows him the ropes while telling him stories four stories with philosophical messages.

The four stories become invaluable to Skip when he's faced with a life-or-death decision.

Visit www.kickstarter.com/projects/brosink/locker-13?ref=live if you'd like to help fund the movie.

Pledges start as low as $1 and go as high as $10,000. Depending on how much you contribute, the production company gives donors prizes as a thank you for their help.
