PHILADELPHIA INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT -

A messy situation at Philadelphia International Airport. Major storms caused flooding, and knocked out the power at Terminal A East, affecting US Airways and American flights.

People are struggling to find they're way through. There is no power and that means baggage claim is down as well.

A staffer says the power was down for four and a half hours.

Many say they were stuck on the tarmac as soon as they landed, including Jack and Brandy Mitchel. They just got married! They say this is one way to celebrate a union.

"It's been a quite an experience getting home. We're still not home yet. Our final destination is Baltimore, so we're just going to rent a car with 7 or 8 people and lots of luggage, and try to make it home," says Brandy, the wife.

"We sat on a plane for 2 hours when we landed. Who know what happens next. All the computers are down. We don't know if we're booked on another flight. We can't check our baggage so down 95 we go," says Jack, the husband.

We sat on the flight two hours when we landed…. All the computers are down," says George Murphy, who's stranded at PHL. "We landed on the tarmac out there and they had to come over to us with the people-mover to even get us off of there. Our baggage, right now, it's kind of a question mark, we think it might be over by the A East terminal by the departures."

Flights into Philadelphia are grounded, and flights going out are delayed.
