PHILADELPHIA -

Philadelphia Police shot a man early Sunday morning on the 5500 block of Lansdowne Avenue.

They were called to investigate reports of a fight, when investigators say, the officers spotted the 22-year-old man standing at the entrance to an apartment building.

Police say he was asked to lift his shirt, but he only shook it and took off running.

An officer ran after him and says the man pulled a gun on him. The man was shot several times and is listed in critical condition tonight.

While at the hospital it was discovered that the male had a second gun, loaded with five live rounds, still located in his waistband.
