DULUTH, Ga. -

It's inspiring how tragedy can often inspire others to reach for the stars and accomplish their dreams. The sudden and tragic loss of Glee's Cory Monteith, who played fan-favorite Finn, last month did that for one young lady.

She told Good Day Atlanta's Paul Milliken that Monteith's death touched her. She said even though she'd never get to meet him now, she knew that if she did, he would tell her to go for it!

Now, she's taking the stage for chance to be the next America Idol and, hopefully, make her dreams a reality!
