MESA, Ariz. -

For the second day in a row, the morning commute has turned deadly on the Superstition Freeway.

The crash happened around 5:15 Tuesday morning at the Power Road on-ramp to the U.S. 60.

Authorities say a small transport truck slammed into the rear of a commercial dump truck.  The driver of the smaller truck has died.

The westbound Power Road on-ramp to the U.S. 60 remained closed while police investigated the scene.

Raul Garcia of the Arizona Department of Public Safety has identified the victim as 32-year-old Domingo Diego Mateo.
