TUCSON, Ariz. (AP) - The Tucson Fire Department put out a restaurant fire early Thursday morning after an off-duty fire dispatcher and other people called to report seeing smoke and flames.
The building on the 6100 block of East 22nd Street had a fire in an attic space, requiring firefighters to cut multiple holes in the roof to gain access.
Nine units and 23 firefighters responded. The restaurant was closed at the time and there were no injuries to firefighters.
Cause of the fire is under investigation.
