NEW YORK (AP) -- Hundreds of workers are busy around the clock at the $4 billion World Trade Center transportation hub project.

The complex will include PATH trains to and from New Jersey, and links to half a dozen city subway lines.

The design, by Spanish architect Santiago Calatrava, features two white sections that look like wings.

Each Sept. 11, sunlight will directly hit a skylight between those wings at exactly 10:28 a.m. -- the time when the second tower collapsed.

High above the hub is the 104-story 1 World Trade Center. And right above the underground complex lies the 9/11 memorial plaza.

Construction Director Steven Plate said during a tour Wednesday that it's more than an engineering feat.

He says the project is meant to "remember the nearly 3,000 souls" who died there.

Everyone hates long lines at security checkpoints and the TSA knows it. Now the TSA is sponsoring a contest to encourage anyone with new ideas about how to make the airport security lines go faster. Often for air travelers, the security checkpoint experience is the worst part of their trip. That's why the TSA turned to the crowdsourcing site Innocentive asking for ideas pledging a total of $15,000 in prize money, with at least one $5,000 award.
