MACKINAC ISLAND, Mich. (AP) - The Windquest is the first to finish in the 105th Race to Mackinac's racing division as participants say light winds kept sailboats from making quicker time.

Organizers of the 333-mile Chicago-to-Mackinac Island, Mich., race say the boat owned by Dick and Doug DeVos crossed the finish late Sunday.

Infinite Diversion owned by Joseph Haas was the first to finish in the cruising division, crossing on Sunday afternoon.

The cruising division started Friday; other boats set sail Saturday. Most participants still were on Lake Michigan on Monday morning.

The Coast Guard says it evacuated a 57-year-old race participant from a boat on Sunday evening south of Manistee. The man was reported to be suffering from cardiac arrest and heat exhaustion, and was taken by boat to land.
