First made popular at Dominique Ansel Bakery in New York, the Cronut is a half croissant, half doughnut.
The name itself is trademarked, but pastry chefs have been putting their own spin on the creation since gaining national attention.
Karl tops his "Kronuts" with icing and sprinkles and fills them with vanilla pudding.
