Cory's Corner: Arizona Idol audition preview

Updated:

FOX 10's Cory McCloskey talks to former Arizona Idol winners before the open auditions on Saturday.

The first 300 people at the auditions at Tempe Marketplace will get the chance to be this year's Arizona Idol.

Contestants will sing 30 seconds a cappella and judges will choose 10 finalists to move on to the finals.

The final auditions will be on Tuesday at 7 p.m. at FOX 10 Studios. The contestants will sing two songs a cappella: a minute version of the song they sang at the open auditions and the National Anthem.
