Car smashes through brick wall, driver arrested

SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. -

A man has been arrested for DUI after crashing his truck through a wall in Scottsdale.

Police say 27-year-old Bradley Faupel crossed the median and crashed into another vehicle before smashing into a brick wall at a home near 94th Street and Cactus Sunday night.

The homeowner and his wife were inside at the time of the collision, but weren't hurt.

911 caller: "An automobile just crashed into my house!"

Dispatch: "Is anybody injured?"

911 caller: "I have no idea my wife and I were in bed, it came through the wall, I don't know if he's injured or not ok.

Dispatch: "Are you injured or your wife?"

911 caller: "No, scared out of my mind!"

The driver of the other vehicle involved suffered minor injuries.

Police say Faupel was driving under the influence. He was ejected from his truck but was not seriously hurt.
