Avondale missing child found safe

AVONDALE, Ariz. -- Avondale police asked for the public's help to find a child who disappeared around 10 a.m. Saturday.

11-year-old Daniel Lina was last seen riding his skateboard in front of his residence near 107th Avenue and Van Buren Street.

He's described as a black male with brown eyes, black hair, 4' 10" tall and weighing 120 pounds.

By 7:40 p.m., Lina was found by a patrol officer.  He was reunited with his family and is safe.

Police have not released details on where Lina was found.
