Drowning boy saved from Norcross pool

NORCROSS, Ga. -

Lifeguards pulled a drowning 10-year-old boy out of a YMCA pool in Norcross on Wednesday.

The incident occurred in the 4500 block of Jones Bridge Circle.

Gwinnett County officials say someone saw the boy under the water.

Three lifeguards pulled him out and administered CPR. Officials say he responded well, It's thought that he was below the surface for about 10 seconds.

The boy's name hasn't been released. He is being treated at Scottish Rite Hospital.
