Le Cordon Bleu's Cajun Barbequed Shrimp

Chef Jon-Paul Hutchins shares a recipe for Cajun Barbequed Shrimp.

Servings: 4

Ingredients:

  • 1 t garlic powder
  • 1 t onion powder
  • 1 t  dried basil
  • ½ t dried thyme
  • ½ t dried rosemary
  • ¼ t cayenne pepper
  • ½ t paprika
  • ½ cup butter
  • ¼ cup Santan Craft Beer
  • 1 T Worstershire sauce
  • 1 pound shrimp peeled and deveined
  • Salt and pepper
  • 1 bunch sliced scallions
  • White rice, cooked or French Bread for soppin'

Directions:

Combine dry ingredients and set aside. Melt butter, add garlic and cook until fragrant. Stir in shrimp and season with spice mixture. Add beer and Worcestershire, simmer until just cooked through.  Serve on cooked rice or in a bowl with French bread on the side. Garnish with scallions.
