Dirks and Kelly taste the Tigers McFlurry

DETROIT (WJBK) -

The Tigers McFlurry is now available at a McDonald's near you. We asked some of the players how it tastes.

"You know what, I can see how those Detroit M&Ms are pretty good," said Tigers outfielder Don Kelly.

"M&Ms are crunchy. Good consistency of the ice cream. That's a good little snack right there," said Tigers' outfielder Andy Dirks.

The McFlurry is a cool concoction of ice cream and M&Ms aimed at the pleasure center of your brain like a Justin Verlander fastball.

Dirks considers himself a tasty treat connoisseur.

"What happens is when it's warm out, you want your ice cream to start melting around the edge, and then it's hard in the middle still so you can get that nice, stirred up, little consistency to where the ice cream's not too hard," he said.
