MESA, Ariz. -

Mesa Police are still looking for the man who walked into a Valero station late Friday, shot the clerk twice and then walked out.

So far, the Mesa Police Department has very few leads in this case. Meanwhile, the family of Ibrahin Robles is in mourning.

There are a lot of unanswered questions for the family of Ibrahin Robles.

"I just want to know why," says Ibrahin Robles Jr., the victim's son. "I want to know why he did it. It just happened so randomly, he didn't take anything. I want to know what my dad did to you that was so bad that you had to take his life."

Robles was working at the Mesa Valero station Friday night when police say a man walked in and shot him. The suspect was caught on surveillance video.

Robles was taken to the hospital where he later died.

"When I went to the hospital I was expecting to go up and see him and just visit him and tell him how sorry I am about the situation, but instead the doctors came in and they told us that he didn't make it."

The family is now remembering the Puerto Rican native and 15-year army veteran as a man who loved his family.

"He was hardworking, he always honored himself in his work. I always wanted to be the man he was."

The family is coming together to keep the story out there so that the man who shot their father and friend will hopefully be brought to justice.

"I hope someone knows who he is and comes forward… it's sad it's horrible for anyone to have to die that way. I mean I just want to know why and all I have to say is, it was really sad and pathetic of someone to take his life."

Robles' body will be buried back in Puerto Rico. In order to raise the funds to do that, the owners of the mesa Valero station at Val Vista and Broadway will be donating all the money from its Tuesday car wash to the family.

There is a memorial account set up at Chase Bank to help with expenses. The account number is 2961391250.
