PHOENIX (AP) - A woman accused of running a red light and causing a fatal crash at a Phoenix bus stop earlier this month has pleaded not guilty.

Maricopa County prosecutors say 22-year-old Elsa Olivares entered her plea Wednesday. Her next scheduled court date is July 15.

Phoenix police say Olivares and her passenger ran off after the May 13 accident but she later turned herself in to police.

Police say Olivares admitted to being under the influence of drugs and alcohol at the time of the crash.

She was booked into jail on suspicion of second-degree murder, aggravated assault, endangerment and leaving the scene of a fatal collision.

Police say a 50-year-old man was killed in the accident and another person was injured.
