Rock n' roll event to benefit Wounded Warriors

Updated:

Support our wounded veterans while rocking and rolling all night on Saturday.

Rock Soldiers for Wounded Warriors Inc. is hosting the First Annual Rock Soldiers for Wounded War Vets benefit at Roadrunner Restaurant and Saloon in New River.

Attendees will rock out to music by Strangeland, Sour Diesel Train Wreck and KISS Alive, Arizona's tribute band to the rock group.

They'll also have raffles of signed musical and sporting memorabilia, "chicken" bingo, donation and merchandise outlets and bull riding (sheep riding for the kids).

Rock Soldiers for Wounded Warriors Inc. was founded by Jerry Boaeles, a disabled Desert Storm Veteran, and Art Long and Michael Blair, members of KISS Alive and both descendants of War Veterans.

The family-friendly event is free and all proceeds will benefit Wounded Warriors.
