A 19-year-old woman was able to get away from a man who grabbed her and tried to pull her into his car.

It happened near Dynamite Road and Extension Road, in far north Scottsdale, about 6:40 p.m.

Scottsdale Police Sgt. Mark Clark says the woman was jogging along Dynamite and passed a car stopped on the shoulder. A man got out of the vehicle and grabbed her.

She was able to free herself from the man, and he got back into his car and fled. The victim was not hurt.

The suspect is described as a white male, 6 feet tall, 200 to 225 pounds, with a heavy build and dark build. He was driving a compact silver car with dark wheels.

Anyone with information is asked to call Scottsdale PD.
