Most every man would agree, there's nothing like a good haircut and clean shave, the old fashioned kind from an old-school barber. There's a new shop that offers just that, and more.

MESA, Ariz. -

A fire broke out at an old fast food restaurant near Dobson and Main Street on Thursday morning.

Firefighters say they got a call around 3 a.m. about smoke in the area and when they arrived, they were confronted with large amounts of smoke and flames coming from a former Wendy's.

Mesa fire crews went on the defensive, but the flames caused the roof to collapse. They've declared the building a total loss.

A security guard who patrols the area told FOX 10 he's seen transients in and out of the abandoned building more than once.

Firefighters are investigating what caused the fire.

Main Street was shut down during the investigation.
