Police say a man shot his cousin's wife at their home near 35th Avenue and Cactus Road on Friday.

Police say Hersi Jama Gelleh fired multiple rounds during some sort of property dispute with a woman in her 50's and her husband, Gelleh's cousin.

The woman was hit by a bullet through a door at the home, according to officers.

She was taken to a hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

Officers searched for Gelleh, but say he eventually turned himself in and was arrested near Glendale and 7th Avenues.

He faces charges of premeditated first-degree murder and aggravated assault with a deadly weapon/dangerous instrument.
