Should you spend time away from the kids on Mother's Day?

Posted: Updated:

Some mothers appear to be celebrating Mother's Day away from the kids.

Do you think it's ok to do so? The question was asked on Living.msn.com, and the answers appear to be divided.

Some say the day should be about mothers, and have time for yourself. Some think it's a day off for moms after being busy with the family all year.

Others say they want to spend the day with their children, and wouldn't spend it anywhere else but with the kids.

Some say it should be combination of the two, a day off for mom but not away from the family.
