PHOENIX -

There's a Jodi Arias movie in the works. In fact, filming has already begun, even though the final chapter of the movie hasn't even happened yet. But if you can't wait for the movie, there's a new e-book about the case.

We caught up with the author of the book. The details in the book come from everything that's happened over the past few months in court.

"There's just so much out there that makes this case so riveting."

For months, Associated Press reporter Brian Skoloff has been watching the Jodi Arias trial unfold from inside the courtroom. He and another author have taken the details of the case and put it in all new e-book released Tuesday.

"We start with the actual killing and go way back and then get into Jodi's life as a child," says Skoloff.

The book is called "Killer Girlfriend - The Jodi Arias Story."

"It really just aims to capture the entire saga that's been the Jodi Arias/Travis Alexander relationship."

Skoloff says the book dives into the lives of Jodi Arias and Travis Alexander before their names were splashed in headlines across the country.

"I think you stand back and you watch this, what's on the news day by day, it's hard to picture Jodi and Travis as human beings so I think that adds a lot of level of interest to it that these are just two average Americans."

Skoloff believes the case has garnered so much attention because of the salacious details that came out in court.

"We just wanted to write this book to tell this whole story and tell it now while people are interested," says Skoloff.

Now obviously, the ending of this book is yet to be determined with the jury still deliberating. The author says they will add chapters to the end of the book once the jury comes back.
