The Anti-Defamation League designated Jean Childs Young Middle as an official "No Place For Hate" campus on Friday.
Administrators say all school year they've focused on bullying and the effects it has on student performance and self-esteem.
Former Atlanta Mayor and U.N. Ambassador Andrew Young took part in the designation ceremony.
Other than Woodward Academy, Jean Childs Young Middle is the first school in the southwest APS district to become a "No Place For Hate" campus.
