Demonstrators rallied outside of Senator John McCain's office on Thursday, calling on Congress to pass comprehensive immigration reform.
Members of Organizing for Action and Immigrants' Families asking Senator McCain to keep pushing forward on a bipartisan immigration reform bill.
The legislation would also create a path to citizenship and stop deportations for millions of families.
"My family was separated. ASU was able to grant me a full ride scholarship but just as I received this life changing news that would essentially grant me so many opportunities I also received the news that my parents would no longer going to reside within this state," said Gloria Galeno.
McCain is one of 8 senators behind the immigration bill that would potentially help 11 million people living in this country illegally.
