Police: 2 Men Rob Newark Wawa

NEWARK, Del. -

Police in Newark, Delaware are searching for two men who officers say walked into a Wawa, told the clerk they had a weapon and then left with cash.

The robbery was reported Sunday morning around 5 a.m. at the Wawa on the 600 block of Ogletown Road.

Police say the two men walked into the store and demanded cash. The faces of both suspects were concealed.

After taking an undisclosed amount of cash, the suspects left the store and were last seen on foot heading eastbound towards Marrows Road.

No one was injured during the robbery.

Police say four people have been shot. According to authorities, a 3-year-old girl was shot, one time in the left side of her chest. She was transported to the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia and was pronounced dead.
