Juror No. 8 tells FOX 10 he was dismissed from the Jodi Arias trial after revealing he was arrested for DUI on April 20.

Daniel Gibb is the third juror to be released from the jury in the sexually explosive murder trial.

Maricopa County Superior Court Judge Sherry Stephens dismissed Gibb on Thursday without giving a reason.

"Ladies and gentleman the court has excused juror number eight from further participation in this case," said Stephens.

According to Gibb, "I disclosed [the DUI] to the court because I thought it was the right thing to do. I could have proceeded on, but I didn't think that would be right. I felt I had to disclose it."

He spent nearly four months with the jury that will decide if Arias killed her ex-boyfriend, Travis Alexander, in self-defense or had planned it ahead of time.

Gibb released a statement to FOX 10 saying, "It was a privilege to know the other jurors and I will miss them. It was actually a great experience. Thank you for respecting my privacy."
