LEGOLAND Chicago hosts stop-motion video contest for kids
SCHAUMBURG, Ill. (FOX 32 News) -
Chicago's LEGOLAND Discovery Center wants your kids' creativity to shine with their first-ever LEGO video contest!
Master Model Builder Andrew Johnson explained LegoLand's latest a challenge, calling all kid movie-makers to submit their coolest stop-motion videos.
If you're 6-12 years old, LEGOLAND wants you to submit a short stop-motion video that tells a unique story featuring your LEGO brick creations. Move your guys with each frame and see them come to life in your 1-3 minute movie!
There will be five finalists. The winner will be determined by a special panel of judges, and the winner will get to attend the red carpet premiere of the new LEGO Legends of Chima 4D movie. They'll also get four tickets to LEGOLAND Florida and receive four annual passes to come back to LEGOLAND every year!
Kids can submit their videos – with their parents' permission – until May 17. Make sure you fill out the application form on LEGOLAND Chicago's Facebook page with a link to your YouTube or Vimeo film.
There's a great exhibit featuring Chicago's famed architecture made entirely of LEGOs, with some models made up of almost 1 million bricks!
