Police On The Lookout For Armed 'Nerdy' Serial Robber

Posted: Updated:
Northridge, CA -

(FOX 11) Don't judge a criminal by his appearance. From the LAPD's description, the criminal of the day thinks he can hide behind some thick rimmed glasses and a "mild-mannered" look.

LAPD hasn't released his picture or any surveillance tape of him in action but the "nerdy looking guy" - as witnesses reportedly described him - certainly was one busy robber last night.

Armed with a gun, he hit a Walgreens, Subway and CVS in the San Fernando all in the span of a couple of hours.

According to police, he's Caucasian, tall - about 6'2" - and on the malnourished side since he only weighs about 130 pounds.*

Maybe he should have ordered a sandwich at Subway instead of cash. Would have been healthier. Then again when they catch him, he'll get 3 squares and a cot.

Yup, you should have ordered the sandwich dude.

As always, if you have any information that could help police catch the bad guy, please call the LAPD.

Twins brothers with a YouTube channel filled with their pranks say they weren't trying to make a joke. Serious intentions or not, a park full of parents were not amused by their latest stunt. This video is a must-see!

I met the folks from Gunnar Optiks at CES this year and they had something new to show me. The Intercepts. I have a big head, these are big frames, it was kismet but do they work as good as they look? We'll see.
