PHOENIX (AP) - The FBI has announced the appointment of a new special agent in charge of the federal law enforcement agency's Phoenix Division.
The new special agent in charge is Douglas G. Price. He most recently headed a section in the Human Resources Division at FBI headquarters in Washington.
Price began his FBI career in Las Cruces, N.M., and he later worked in Los Angeles. His work there included temporary assignments on teams assigned to two Olympics. His FBI career also has included counterterrorism work and service in Iraq.
Phoenix FBI office spokesman Manuel Johnson said the Phoenix Division's previous special agent in charge, James Turgal, is now deputy assistant director of the Human Resources Division at FBI headquarters in Washington.
