Enjoy a taste of Spain with tapas at Melia Hotel

Are you looking to host a get together or a just a way to spice up your family night dinner? Why not try small plates or tapas with a Spanish flair! Chef Joseph Adamo from Melia Hotel stopped by Good Day Atlanta with a couple of recipes to get your tapas going!


Every Friday evening from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. enjoy an array of uniquely flavorful tapas, Carta di Vinos (wines), Cervezas Españolas (Spanish beers), and live music in the Meliã Hotel Atlanta's Lobby Lounge.

With Tapas prices ranging from $4-$7 a piece, guests are able order, share and try them all.

Reservations for Tapas by Meliã are not required, guests are encouraged to stop by after work, grab a drink, share some food, some laughs and a lot of fun. Meliã Hotel Atlanta is located in Midtown at the corner of North Avenue and West Peachtree Street.

Recipe: Churrasco Steak with Chimichuri Sauce

Skirt Steak



Wood Skewers






Chopped Parsley




1Table Spoon


Fresh Lemon Juice

6 Table Spoons


Red Pepper Flakes

1Tea Spoons


White Vinegar

3 Table Spoons


Olive Oil

8 Table Spoons


Kosher Salt

To Taste


Black Pepper

To Taste



Cooking Procedures


1. Cut Skirt Steak into 1.5 inch Strips the proceed to place on Wood Skewers. Season with salt and pepper.


2. In a small bowl add Parsley, Garlic, Lemon Juice, and Vinegar and mix together. Once mixed together, keep mixing a slowly in olive oli and season with salt and pepper. Let mixture rest in the fridge fo 20 minutes before serving.



Recipe Name:  Yellow eyed snapper Ceviche






Yellow Eye Snapper

6 ounces small diced



1/2 of one


Red Pepper

1/4 of pepper small dice


Green Bell Pepper

1/4 of pepper small dice


Red Onion

1/4 small diced



1/2 ounce chopped


Fresh Lime Juice

3 ounces


Olive Oil

1 ounce


Salt and Pepper

To taste



Assembly Procedures


1. In a mixing bowl, combine all ingredients. Season with salt and pepper to taste


2.  Let this mix marinated refrigerated for at least two hours before serving
