GLENDALE, Ariz. -

A pedestrian was hospitalized after she was hit by a car near 67th Avenue and Northern on Sunday night.

Glendale Police say the victim may not have been in the crosswalk when she was hit and did suffer life-threatening injuries.

67th Avenue between Olive and Grand Avenue was shut down until just before 2 a.m. Monday during the investigation.

Officials say the driver did not appear to be impaired.  They did stop and wait for officers to arrive at the scene of the crash.

No names have been released in this case.
