The 3rd annual Mountain Lion Carnival hosted by the Red Mountain Football Association starts Thursday. It's one of the largest carnivals held on high schools grounds in the state.
Families can enjoy more than 16 kiddie and adult carnival rides and games, including a large-scale Ferris Wheel, Tilt-A-Whirl, Gravitron, the Zipper,a Carousel, Berry-Go-Round, Motorcycles and more. Midway West will also have carnival-style games and prizes.
Local bands and DJs will provide entertainment and more than a dozen local vendors will offer a wide variety of foods and goods.
The carnival runs from Thursday through Sunday and has free admission.
Tickets for unlimited access to all rides are $25 and can be purchased at the entrance.
All proceeds from the carnival will go to the Red Mountain Football Association and will be used for gear, weight room improvements, travel expenses and tournaments.
