DETROIT, Mich. (WJBK) -

Investigators are hoping grainy pictures of a late model Dodge Stratus will help provide valuable clues as they investigate the murder of a woman found shot to death on Interstate 75.

Police say 32-year-old Jennifer Ann Scavone was discovered by an MDOT courtesy van driver slumped over the wheel of her GMC SUV in the northbound lanes of I-75 near Mack Avenue. She had been shot several times.

Michigan State police have released pictures of a 2004-2006 gray or silver Stratus which they say was following Scavone after she left her job at the Bouzouki Lounge in Greektown around 2:30 a.m. February 9th. The vehicle is missing both the front wheel covers and may have damage to the trunk lid and right front quarter panel.

Police spent hours interviewing parking attendants and all of her co-workers, who say they don't believe there is anything random about this.
