
(FOX 11) For the first time ever two local charter schools will be going head-to-head at the National Academic Decathlon.
Last year Granada Hills took the top national prize for the second year in a row. This year, they won the state championships while their crosstown rival -- El Camino -- came in second.
Now, for the first time ever, both teams will be competing at this year's national championships.
Four members of the Granada Hills team stopped by Studio 11 LA to talk about the historic news.
