The Talker: Beyoncé`s new, edgy song lyrics cause controversy

CHICAGO (Sun-Times Media Wire) -
Beyoncé is no longer the demure singer she was at the president's inauguration or the glammed-up, but playful performer at the Super Bowl.
The new, public-version of Beyoncé is the one who just posted the song "Bow Down" online. It's the first song she's released since 2011. In it, she has a sharp edge and a potty mouth.
The lyrics say: "I know when you were little girls you dreamt of being in my world. Don't forget it. Don't forget it. Respect that. Bow down b*****s."
Then continues, "I took some time to live my life but don't think i'm just his little wife. Don't get it twisted. Get it twisted. This is my s***. Bow down b*****s. Bow down b*****s. Bow bow down b*****s."
Some people think the song is aimed at the R&B singer Keyshia Cole, who criticized the halftime show at the Super Bowl. Then again, Beyoncé's line about being a "little wife" could be a roar to anyone who thinks her domestic life with jay-z and their new baby sapped her strength or independence.
Whatever the inspiration, the output is taking widespread criticism. The British paper, The Telegraph, reads "Why I don't want to be Beyoncé's (you know what)." A headline on the Huffington Post says "Classy women don't swear, Beyoncé."
The general feeling among detractors is that foul language should be beneath Beyoncé.
Actual ver batim of quote: "Beyoncé could not be a better role model for my girls because she carries herself with such class and poise..."
President Obama once said, "Beyoncé could not be a better role model for my daughters because she carries herself with such class and poise."
