The Sandy Springs man accused of shooting his wife eight times was in court on Friday.
Michael Parson is charged with attempted murder and aggravated battery, accused of shooting Adina Parson in the face last April.
He was expected to make a plea deal, but he asked for more time to make a decision. His defense attorney came back into the courtroom and shook his head "no." Everyone then left. It's not clear if he's going to get more time, or if his case is going to trial. Officials say all parties in the case are on two hour notice next week to have another hearing, or start the trial.
Prosecutors say Michael Parson was leading a double life, and was engaged to another woman. In court on Thursday, they laid out what may be ahead for him if he's convicted. He's facing five to 60 years in prison.
