2 injured in Interstate 575 wreck

CHEROKEE COUNTY, Ga. -

Two overturned trucks have all lanes blocked on Interstate 575 northbound in Cherokee County on Friday.

GDOT says the accident, involving a dump truck and a box truck, happened near the Towne Lake Parkway exit at around 5 a.m. Authorities say two people were injured and have been transported to an area hospital.

The incident is under investigation.
