Police seek Atlanta bank robbery suspect

Police are searching for a suspect in the robbery of a bank in Atlanta on Wednesday.

According to Atlanta police, the robbery took place around 2:40 p.m. at the PNC Bank located on Piedmont Road.

A man passed a noted demanding $5,000. He fled after being given $3,000, according to authorities.

He was last seen heading north on Piedmont Road wearing a red sweat shirt, light color blue jeans and a dark skull cap, police said.
