PHILADELPHIA -

Employees of a Philadelphia Dunkin Donuts watched in shock as workers removed a car after it smashed through the front of the store Monday.

The car appeared to have reversed through the front of the Dunkin Donuts on the 7100 block of Ridge Avenue.

Police say no one was injured.

Video from SkyFOX showed scattered bricks and broken glass in the store's parking lot.

Surveillance video from inside of the Dunkin Donuts shows a customer who appears to fall backwards after the car crashes through. A mom and her child are seen running away as broken glass flies into the store.

After the crash, a small crowd stood outside of the yellow police tape that surrounded the parking lot to watch workers get the car out of the store.

Police tell FOX 29 the driver accidentally accelerated, causing the car to crash through the store. Police say the driver is not facing any charges.

It was a gloomy Sunday as the whole area remain socked in with low clouds & fog, drizzle and scattered showers.

The weather remains unsettled through most of the work week. The difference is that it will really warm up -- temperatures soar into the 80s by Tuesday.  That mild and humid air mass will fuel afternoon thunderstorms.

By Thursday a cold front moves by bringing more rain.  It will also bring drier and cooler weather by Friday as we finally clear out.
