STAMFORD, Conn. (AP) -

A Connecticut man charged with making a bomb had photos of mass murderers and neo-Nazi white supremacy posters at his Stamford house and told authorities he was planning for the end of the world, police said.

Police arrested Donald Saturno, 47, in Ridgefield Monday on a warrant charging him with illegal bomb manufacture, authorities said. He was held on $400,000 bail after pleading not guilty in Stamford Superior Court.

An arrest affidavit said police also found newspaper articles from the funeral of a Stamford police officer with a note attached "just keeping score..."

His attorney declined to comment.

Stamford police said they found a suspected pipe bomb and suspicious powders, as well as shotguns.

The affidavit said Saturno told police he was planning to use the device to break a large rock on his property.
