A new product approved by the FDA rivals Botox and Dysport in facial wrinkle prevention.
Xeomin is an injectable filler newly offered by Suddenly Slimmer Med Spa in Phoenix.
Similar to Botox, Xeomin is used to relax your muscles to remedy wrinkles and fine lines.
But, there are two things Xeomin offers that Botox and Dysport don't.
Xeomin doesn't have to be refrigerated, making it smoother and easier to distribute.
In addition, Xeomin is a purer form of botulinum toxin and doesn't have proteins that commonly cause irritation or allergic reactions.
According to spa director Jeanie Marcelino, Xeomin takes about a week to see its full effects. The cost is comparable to Botox and side effects include minor swelling, headaches and bruising.
