
Learn how to light up your life responsibly at Glendale Solar Day on Saturday.
If you're thinking about choosing to go solar at your home, the event will have industry experts to answer questions about your options.
Kids can learn how solar energy works with Arizona Solar Cookers and activities from Glendale's Watt Watchers youth education program.
Glendale residents who attend the event will be given free energy-saving devices, funded buy an Energy Conservation Block Grant from the US Department of Energy.
In addition, APS will provide a presentation, "Energy Efficiency and Solar," at 10:30a.m. and a second presentation, "The Pros and Cons of Going Solar," at 11 a.m.
