PHOTOS: Tiger at Brookfield Zoo gets wintry snowman treat

A recent Chicago snowfall made for a great photo opportunity--and snack--for one happy tiger at Brookfield Zoo.
The 2-year-old Amur tiger named Max was given a wintry treat of a snowman—complete with meat for eyes and buttons, as well as bones for feet. Frosty didn't stand a chance against Max, who eventually pounced, knocking it to pieces.
The Chicago Zoological Society's Animal Programs staff provides enrichment to the animals that encourages natural behavior by physically and mentally stimulating them with a variety of items that they may not receive on a regular basis.
