Bronx man the victim of a hit-and-run

NEW YORK (MYFOXNY) -

Police say a man is fighting for his life after he was struck by a car in the Bronx early Saturday morning.

The 61-year-old victim was crossing the Grand Concourse at Field Place in the Fordham Heights section when a car traveling southbound hit him and fled.

Police said the unidentified victim crossed the street against the signal.

The victim was taken to St. Barnabus Hospital where he is listed in critical condition.

Authorities said the vehicle is a grey sedan. No arrests have been made.
