Delaware State Police arrested 18-year-oldQuatessa
Ross Friday in connection with an assault and robbery of an 89-year-old woman
in a grocery store parking lot.
Police
says Ross approached the elderly woman
just after 7:00pm while she was unloading groceries into her vehicle. Ross punched the woman in the head, knocking
her to the ground and took her purse from the vehicle.
The
woman was taken to St. Francis Hospital with a bone fracture. She was treated and released from the
hospital.
