The Wayne County prosecutor's office says 28-year-old Ferdarius Shine is charged with two counts of First-Degree Murder and three counts of Assault with Intent to Murder following a shooting in the 13500 block of Winthrop in Detroit.
Police say Shine's 49-year-old aunt Santangela Williams and his 68-year-old grandmother Geraldine Bates were each shot several times and died at a local hospital. Shine's 7-year old daughter was also injured in the shooting that happened last Friday, but she is expected to recover.
Police say Shine then checked himself into a hospital where he was later arrested.
FOX 2 has previously reported Shine had a license for a handgun but that license had been revoked two times. The license had most recently been reinstated until 2015.
