AHWATUKEE, Ariz. -
Phoenix Police are looking for vandals responsible for at least 50 criminal damage incidents in which vehicle and residential windows were smashed.
In the past 2 and a half weeks, there has been a dramatic increase in the number of criminal damage incidents between 48th Street and Elliot to 19th Ave and Pecos.
The damage is occurring mainly on weekend nights -- and there have been 50 incidents over the past couple of weekends.
The suspects are described as juvenile males, and the vehicle is described as a newer-model Ford Focus or Chevy Malibu, silver or gray in color, with tinted windows and a black stripe down both sides.
Anyone with information is asked to call Silent Witness. A reward is being offered for information leading to an arrest and conviction.
